Dahlia generates date ideas for long-term couples: tap for a fresh idea, browse themed decks, or mix your own plan in the Date Builder (an activity, a food, and a twist). Save the ones you like, mark ones you've actually done, and build a date-night streak. Everything you save stays on your iPhone.
On the main screen, tap for a fresh suggestion, or use the filters (mood, budget, time, setting, and inclusive-content tags) to narrow things down. You can also browse the Library's themed decks, or build your own combination in the Date Builder.
Dahlia is free to use, with limits: you can save up to 15 favorite ideas and 3 date plans, and some decks and content are locked. Dahlia Premium removes both limits and unlocks every deck and all content, for a monthly or annual subscription — there's no lifetime option.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Open iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Dahlia and tap Cancel. You keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for. If you're on a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends or it converts to a paid subscription automatically. Refund requests also go through Apple — we cannot issue them. See Apple's refund request page.
Open the Premium/paywall screen in Dahlia and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with, and that you have a working internet connection. If it still doesn't appear, email us with the date of purchase and we'll help.
Locked decks and ideas are Premium content. Subscribing to Dahlia Premium unlocks all of them immediately — no need to redownload anything.
Some ideas are tagged for specific situations — alcohol-free, LGBTQ+, non-monogamous, faith-friendly, low-mobility, or long-distance. Turn these on in the filter sheet to only see ideas tagged that way; your filter choices are saved on your device as your default.
Go to Settings and toggle the weekly reminder. When it's on, Dahlia asks for notification permission (if it hasn't already) and schedules one reminder for Friday evening suggesting you open the app for a fresh idea. Turning it off cancels that reminder.
Your favorites, "we did this" history, saved plans, preferences, and streak are stored only on your device — we don't run a server and keep no copy. If you use iCloud device backup, that's governed by Apple, not by us. Deleting the app deletes all of this data, and we can't recover it for you.
No. Dahlia has no accounts and no backend server, so there's nothing for us to see. Your favorites, history, and plans never leave your device except when you personally choose to share one through the iOS share sheet. See our Privacy Policy.
No. Dahlia has no ads, no advertising SDK, and no analytics or tracking of any kind.
Email support@bogtsi.xyz. Your iOS version, device model, and what you were doing when it happened all help us track things down.
