Quietkeep records how much energy things cost you. This policy describes what happens to that record. The short version: it stays on your phone.
Everything you enter — battery levels, events, the interaction types you use, the names you attach to events, optional notes, and your settings — is written to your device's local storage. There is no Quietkeep account, no Quietkeep server, and no sync. If you delete the app, that data is gone; nobody else has a copy.
If you turn on calendar access, Quietkeep reads events from your device calendar to show what a day is likely to cost you. This is read-only: Quietkeep never creates, edits or deletes calendar entries, and calendar data is never transmitted anywhere. It is used on your device to populate the Plan screen and is not stored beyond the planned entries you see there. You can decline calendar access and use Quietkeep by adding planned things yourself; nothing is withheld if you do.
If you attach a person to an event, their name is stored on your device only, exactly as you typed it. It is never uploaded, shared, or used for anything other than showing you your own patterns. You can delete a person at any time in the app.
Notifications are off unless you turn them on. If you do, Quietkeep schedules a single local reminder at a time you choose. These are local notifications generated on your device — there is no push server, and Quietkeep cannot send you anything you did not schedule.
There are none. Quietkeep contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no tracking of any kind. It does not collect a device identifier and does not build a profile of you.
If you buy a subscription, the purchase is handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, which Quietkeep uses to check whether a subscription is active. Apple and RevenueCat receive the information they need to process and validate that purchase — an anonymous identifier and the receipt. They do not receive anything you logged in Quietkeep. You can export everything Quietkeep holds as a CSV file at any time, from Settings. Export is free and is not limited by subscription. To delete your data, delete the app.
Quietkeep is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
