Voxwarm · A call-and-response vocal warm-up, with real-time pitch feedback

Need help? Email support@bogtsi.xyz. Voxwarm is made by one person, so replies may take a few days — every message is read.

What Voxwarm does

Voxwarm plays a short piano phrase, then listens while you sing it back, and shows you — live — how close your note is to the target. It never plays and listens at the same time: the piano always stops before the microphone opens. Free features include real-time pitch feedback, a vocal-range finder, a starter set of warm-up exercises, one free 5-minute routine, and 28 days of range history. Voxwarm Pro unlocks the rest of the exercise library, the Speaker/Choir/Audition purpose presets, longer 10- and 15-minute routines, a cool-down block, per-exercise key and tempo control, light-voice mode (a gentler warm-up for a tired or resting voice), the full ear-training drill set, and full-history range tracking. Everything you log stays on your iPhone.

Common questions

Does Voxwarm record my voice?

No. Your microphone audio is analysed in memory, in real time, purely to detect the pitch you're singing — it is never recorded, never saved as an audio file, and never sent anywhere. See our Privacy Policy for the full explanation.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Open iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Voxwarm and tap Cancel, or use the "Manage subscription" link in Voxwarm's own Settings screen, which opens the same place. You keep Voxwarm Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. If you're on the annual free trial (currently 7 days — the App Store shows the exact length for your storefront), cancel at least 24 hours before it ends or it converts to a paid annual subscription automatically. Refund requests also go through Apple — we cannot issue them.

I paid, but Voxwarm Pro isn't showing up

Open Settings and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you purchased with, and that you have a working internet connection. If it still doesn't appear, email us with the date of purchase and we'll help.

Why does the app need microphone access?

Real-time pitch feedback is Voxwarm's core feature — the app listens to your voice so it can tell you how close you are to the target note. Without microphone access, the guided sing-back exercises and the range finder can't function. You can review or revoke microphone access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → Voxwarm.

Why doesn't the piano play while I'm singing?

That's deliberate. Voxwarm's exercises work call-and-response: the piano plays a phrase, stops completely, and only then does the microphone open for you to sing it back. This isn't just a style choice — playing and listening at the same time on a phone would let the microphone pick up the piano's own sound coming back through the speaker, which would make pitch detection unreliable. Using headphones makes the handover even clearer, since the microphone then hears only your voice.

What is light voice?

Light voice is a marking mode, for the days you shouldn't be singing out — tired, unwell, or saving your voice for a performance later. Turn it on with the switch at the top of the Today tab, above your routines. With it on, every exercise is transposed into the middle of your measured range instead of walking to the edges: the top of each exercise comes down further than the bottom comes up, so you never reach for the notes that cost you, and each exercise is a little shorter as a result. Turn it off and your normal warm-up comes straight back — nothing about your range or history changes either way. Light voice is part of Voxwarm Pro.

How do I export my data?

Go to Settings and tap Export CSV or Export JSON. Voxwarm builds a file of your practice and range history and hands it to the standard iOS share sheet — from there you can save it to Files, mail it to yourself, or open it in a spreadsheet app. The file isn't sent anywhere by us; where it goes is your choice.

My reminder isn't going off

Check that notifications are enabled for Voxwarm in iOS Settings → Notifications → Voxwarm, and that the daily reminder is turned on inside Voxwarm's Settings. Voxwarm schedules one repeating daily local reminder on your device — turning it off and on again re-schedules it.

Does the app show ads?

No. Voxwarm does not show ads and contains no advertising SDK.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app. Everything Voxwarm stores — your vocal-range history, practice history, streak, badges, and settings — lives only on your device, so removing the app removes all of it. Export a copy first (see above) if you'd like to keep it.

Is Voxwarm medical or vocal-health advice?

No. Voxwarm is a training and practice tool, not a medical device, and not a substitute for a voice teacher, speech-language pathologist, or physician. It makes no guarantee about how your voice, range, or pitch accuracy will change from using it. If you experience pain, strain, or persistent hoarseness, stop and consult a qualified professional. See our Terms of Service.

Bug reports & feedback

Email support@bogtsi.xyz. Your iOS version, device model, and what you were doing when it happened all help. If it's a pitch-detection problem, whether you were using headphones and roughly how loud your environment was are especially useful.
